When I learnt that she had told her that there was a 50% Rowan sale, it was a lucky thing that it only involved a short drive from where we were when I got the text.
So when I got there, I was overwhelmed. Rowan! 50%! Why didn't she tell me on Wednesday! I could have been there on Wednesday! And got Felted Tweed! Because um, muffle muffle balls just aren't enough.
Anyway, once I got there, I asked her whether there was anything she wanted, tee hee. She only wanted 9 balls.
Me, I have 3 gift blanket projects I've been trying desperately to work out yarn/design details for. So now I've enough for one adult sized and two mini-me sized blankets. That would be 18+12 balls of Wool Cotton, 22+9 balls of Purelife Organic Cotton. Oh, and 3 balls of Kidsilk Haze in Blood, just for me.
Pics once the light is better. I'd better get back to this current blanket. Unfortunately I can't mix colours - the gauges of the cottons are just a bit off, grr. I'm tempted, but it would probably annoy me to no end.

Her told She on Wednesday (or some day a few days ago) when She was out of town and away from internet access. Her was holding out, not She, She had no idea. AND She naturally assumed that Her got the information from You. You being the chronic enabler. AND She immediately put Her information from mind because She wants to take as much yarn dosh away with She as possible and Her knows this and Her is a naughty enabler just like You!!!

OMG that blog is ancient I will have to do something about that.
BTW - Her found out on Saturday on Rav through the posting of another whilst randomly mooching the forums and IMMEDIATELY texted She and You of the event. Her 'fesses to being the naughty enabler but Her also decided not to go as Her needs to still do some destashing in order to have enough said 'dosh' to spend alongside She on the international yarn event of the century. Just thought that You would like to make up for that somewhere along the line! and you obviously did! BTW there is still Felted Tweed on the website which you can order direct! hehehehe signed Her

There was some Kid Classic, a brownish and a pinkish I think.
I asked specifically about the Felted Tweed and she said no no, all gone.
But gee, slander sure gets a response. I might bear that in mind...
