Yep, I gave in and bought a licensed product. But children have a habit of making us change our minds about all sorts of things. WB is so in love with trains, choo-choo is one of his very few words.
Well, after all the fun we had on the weekend, poor WB decided late last night to vomit phlegm, breastmilk and sultanas on my chest. In bed. Our bed. On my side. Ever the helpful sort, BD decided he'd come at me with tissues and succeeded in making sure it all really soaked in.
Anyway, today, today has been really productive. We dropped BD off at the train station, went to Woolworths and the doctor, all before 9am.
Poor WB had a huge 2.5hr+ sleep to make up for last night, which gave me time to crochet and chill out. I've even washed and laid out the teal blanket to dry outside. It didn't felt at all in the washing machine. In fact, it's stretched quite a bit, so next time I work with Bendi's Luxury wool, I might go down to 3.75mms.
I've also brought the Purelife cotton granny out of hibernation and now have 12 types of squares.
There'll be 4 of each, which only gives me 48, so I think I'll need to beef it out to some configuration that's bigger than 6x8 but is still divisible by 4. Or make 5 squares of each, but I don't think I have enough grey. Something to ponder on later.
So that's day 2 of NaBloPoMo sorted.
