Crochet seaming tutorial Mark II

I tried to seam the Sublime Organic Cotton squares the way I have done with the previous blankies, but it just didn't work. I think the yarn needs to be much stiffer. So instead I joined them with a double crochet from the back.

Herewith a quick pictorial.

The seam looks like this from the front:

And from the back:

2. Double crochet through all four loops.

Tutorial: The amazingly flat crochet seam

Alrighty then, here goes. Works best with contrast colours. And a smaller hook.

Step 1. Prepare to be amazed.

Step 2: Insert hook into inner loop of top square.

Step 3. Insert hook into inner loop of bottom square.

Step 4. Loop yarn over hook.

Step 5. Pull yarn through all three stitches on hook.

Step 6. Admire the handiness.
